About RVCo

Ruchika Verma holds bachelor's degrees in Commerce (Hons.) (2002) and Law (2005) from the prestigious colleges of the University of Delhi: IP College for Women and the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law. She had the opportunity to represent India as part of a two member team at the Louis M Brown Client Counselling Competition held in the United States in 2005.

Right after completing her law degree, she began her in-house legal journey as a management trainee in the corporate legal function of a legacy conglomerate.

Over two decades across some of India's largest corporations and global multinationals, spanning manufacturing, real estate, telecom, defence and aerospace, infrastructure, oil and gas, and technology, she has had the privilege of learning from and working with outstanding professionals who shaped her understanding of what it truly means to be an in-house counsel: to advise, support, and protect the business at the same time. Not sequentially. Not selectively. All at once.

She believes in-house legal should accelerate business, not slow it down, and that begins with building meaningful relationships with sales, procurement, finance, and operations. Legal creates the most value when it moves beyond being a gatekeeper and becomes a true business partner.
